Red Cross Emergency First Aid & CPR Course

This basic one-day course can be completed in-class (approx 7.5 hours) or through Blended Learning (approx 4 hours online followed by 4.5 hours in-class) offers an overview of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home. Includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. Meets OHS regulations for Basic First Aid and participants will also learn how (and be certified) to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

This course is  taught by a certified Red Cross Instructor and successful participants receive proof of certification electronically that can be printed by participant as required.

Who should take this course?

There are no prerequisites to take this course and it is suitable for people needing it for the workplace, school, volunteer work or personal knowledge. Recommended minimum age to take the course is 14.

Completion Requirements

100% attendance is mandatory, demonstrate proficiency of skills and a minimum 75% on written exam.
